A few mods to make work better...
First off, this bag is huge! I was a little worried at first if it would be too small, ha!
I give it three stars because of some "flaws" I think could have been changed by Big Agnes. The double pad compartments are not good if you are a spooner/cuddler with your partner. They sit a few inches apart and you either end up squeezed onto one pad or sprawled strangely across two for comport. We ripped the stitching out and made a coupler (borrowed the design from Thermarest) for our pads and now it's MUCH better. Although now there is too much room and the lack of down on the bottom of the bag makes a nice cold spot. Next change will be to cut the length of the bag bottom, take out the excess nylon and sew it smaller so there will be no wiggle room for the pads and the down sides will hopefully meet up with the pad edges.
It is indeed warm, once you warm it up and close up the draw strings by your head. I think if the bag were smaller with one large pad sleeve,...

Awesome.
We've had this sleeping bag a little over 3 years. It is plenty warm, though we pushed the limit while March camping at Grand Canyon NP (snow on the ground, night temps in the teens). We purchased a liner to extend the life of this bag.
Do know there is no insulation in the back of this bag, as Big Agnes uses sleeves intended for sleeping pads, which provides the necessary insulation. We use the Exped downmat 7s with this bag. Makes for a very comfy night. Even in warmer temps, the 15 degree rating is not too warm as you can always open it up. This is very roomy, and on cold nights, 2 bodies are better than one.
big agnes saved my life
In May I moved from Miami to Colorado. Now that cooler weather has set in I sleep in 'big agnes' on top of my bed every night. It is extremely light weight and I can adjust the temperature by the degree that I open the side zippers. I don't need a pile of big blankets to keep me warm. I have 'big agnes.' My cat love it too.
