Marketing ideas not so good....
I purchased this double wide pad for camping with the wife. Their competing product is a double pad from ALPS Engineering for $20 more.
The pad is nice with two valves, attached tying straps, and a bag that will fit after you roll it up. Rolling it was not easy and will take time. I got it to 18" diameter.
The two sides are not detachable like the APLS Engineering pad. I think it's a marketing decision because you can clearly see there are two pads. I will get APLS pad if I have to do it over. I like the idea of being able to take just one pad when I don't want to carry an 18" drum.

Split Design is Sweet!
The split design means when you move at night, it doesn't bounce your sleepmate around like the big inflatables. Being able to double it over when you're solo - and to save space in the tent during the day - is nice, too. The pad self-inflates quickly and with a wee bit of a top-off, it feels great. Construction appears to be sturdy, and a patch kit is tucked in to a pocket in the included stuff sack (nice touch).
Be aware, it takes a fair amount of space when rolled up. If your vehicle tends to be stuffed to the gills when you go car camping, you might have trouble making room for it. Also, it would be nice if the stuff sack had a shoulder strap or handle sewn to it. If you have to haul it far from the car, it's a bit unwieldy. Overall though, this pad is a winner.
car camping comfort with a kid
I love this pad. Obviously, it's large so it's for car camping and it takes up quite a bit of space. The material prevents your bag from slipping off. I bought this because my daughter rolls all over the place unless RIGHT NEXT TO ME. This pad made it possible to get a good nights sleep and not lose my child in the mix of blankets and sleeping bags. Self inflating is great but I did have to give a few puffs to top it off.
Only con for me is that it was difficult for me to roll it back up.
We've used this a few times, each trip at least 2-3 nights and it's been great. When I've had company stay with me they've used the pad on the floor and slept comfortably.
I started using the thermarest blankets vs sleeping bags because I could cover the entire pad and the two of us with that system and it is very comfortable.
